Dear Distinguished Programs Broker Community Member,
With all the focus given to the fast-changing effects of COVID-19 on businesses and communities, we want to provide an update to all our broker partners.
We would like to start by giving our sincere thanks to everyone who is working on the front line to contain Covid-19 and those that support them. Our thoughts and well wishes go out to all who are affected in the many ways this is touching all of us. We hope this message finds you and your families healthy and safe.
We are fully operational and here to serve you. Our business continuity plans are in place and active, so you can remain confident that our ability to provide Distinguished products and services is uninterrupted. Our full team, sales executives, account executives and underwriters are all available to talk with you and discuss how we can meet your needs. Prior to the restrictions many cities and states now have in place, we were able to successfully test our plans, allowing full continuity and a work from home environment.
Work environment. At this time, our employees
have been asked to work remotely through at least April 15, and perhaps longer
as the situation requires. This is not a major change for us. We have always worked
in a highly distributed fashion, with many remote employees, as part of our
normal operations. The transition to full work at home was smooth as a result. This
timeline will change as needed with guidance from the CDC, as well as local,
state and national authorities and health departments.
